Meat Market tells the story of two family sagas, all of them prostitutes. A family of three women: a grandmother, a daughter and a granddaughter from the rural area and Kamathipura district, and the other from two sisters and a daughter from Calcutta. It is an intimate portrait of the reality of trafficking and sexual exploitation in India.
